Respect

The RFL wants every fan to be among the vanguard as the sport seeks to protect its image as the sport for families and set even higher standards of behaviour.

The RFL's ‘RESPECT' campaign is aimed at ensuring that the sport provides a suitable environment for everybody to enjoy both participating in and watching the game of Rugby League.

As part of that campaign, this year will see the introduction of a specially recorded audio message to be played before all matches.

‘RESPECT' is the sport's benchmark against which everybody who takes part in the game will be measured.

It will ensure that Rugby League, whose reputation for being a disciplined, friendly sport is already widely recognised, will continue to attract support from all sections of society.

Spectators have an important role to play in the implementation of the ‘RESPECT' campaign and the way in which you react at the introduction of the teams and dramatic moments in the game will have an impact on what the sport is trying to achieve.

Please join with us in making Rugby League an even friendlier family sport that treats everybody with ‘RESPECT'.
