Story in brief:South Wales Scorpions and Wales Rugby League will be holding another of their double headers at The Gnoll in Neath that have proved so successful already this season.
On Sunday 8th August, the Scorpions take on Doncaster RLFC in a match that could decide which of these sides will qualify for the Co-operative Championship 1 play-offs. Both are battling at the fringe of the finals positions making this game a real six-pointer. Kick-off has been moved slightly back to 2.30pm.
But before that, at 12pm, is the culmination of Wales Rugby League's newest competition, the Co-operative Welsh Championship.
For the first time ever, the domestic Welsh competition is operating as two tiers. This is the second tier with four sides, Tydfil Wildcats, Neath Port Talbot Steelers, Torfaen Tigers and enthusiastic newcomers Dyffryn Devils, looking to take the inaugural crown. The final will be between the top two sides in this open and exciting league.
