Blackpool up to second Blackpool scored 34 second-half points as they came from behind against South Wales to claim second place in Co-operative Championship One with a 44-24 victory. John Clough and Casey Maybury both crossed twice for the Panthers, who trailed 16-10 at the interval, while Tom Hemingway scored 16 points and Tom Woodcock, Mark McCully and Martin Ainscough also touched down. Steve Parry claimed two in reply for the Scorpions, with their other tries coming from Ashley Bateman and Andrew Gay.
